Alan produced Carol Bunyan's new play, "THE COMPANY OF STRANGERS" for The Courtyard Theatre, London in September 2011. Carol also directed & Alan played "Nick". Alan’s Feature Film debut was in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" & then Julian Fellowes' film, "From Time To Time". Christmas 2009 saw him as Santa in a BBC iPlayer link. In 2008 he shot a Drama Doc about aviators Alcock & Brown, playing Brown in his 60s, & also appeared as DOUGLAS in a new play, "COLOURINGS". In 2007 he was in "The Last Confession", starring David Suchet. He was also Nicolay Borisovich Jacobi in “Tchaikovsky & Me” and Sir Henry Thornhill for the British Embassy in Japan. In 2006, he played four roles in "Antony & Cleopatra" & Leonato in "Much Ado". He was in Australia in January 2005 with "The Black Rider" Alan toured Britain as Thomas Gradgrind in "Hard Times" and as Friar Laurence in "Romeo & Juliet". Other theatre: Lord Porteous in "The Circle" in Hamburg, "Northanger", four roles in "Richard III", Baptista in "The Taming of the Shrew", "In Lambeth", as Tom Paine. Other TV as Lord Barham, (Aged 53 & 80), in "A World in Arms"
