Andrew Dawson most recently starred as John Keats in the critically acclaimed "Keats in Hampstead" for the reopening of the Keats House this summer, his other recent credits include the TV comedy Kapow! Its Ross and Andrew. He has a very strong classical pedigree as well as an appetite for the innovative and off the wall, he has performed in over 17 Shakespeare productions across the country including RSC’s Hamlet starring Toby Stephens. Other notable roles in London include Castiza/Ambitiouso in The Revenger’s Tragedy Ambitioso and Greg in Alan Ayckbourn’s Relatively Speaking, demonstrate that he is just as much home in classical tragedy as more contemporary comedy. His musical theatre ability is suggested by his lead role as the all singing and dancing actor manager in the Fringe first winning Jekyll! at the Edinburgh Fringe. His other film and TV work has included Doctors and The Bill, and he has played role in a number of independent films. He is also an emerging voice over artist who work so far has included the voices of the British Gas flames and various voices for the award winning animated movie “The Battle for Cable Street”.
