Biography

Brenda is an experienced theatre actress, having played a wide range of leading and character roles with various regional companies after traning at The Webber-Douglas School. She first went to the National Theatre in 1977 where she appeared in The Lady From Maxims, Brand, Macbeth and The Woman. She played The Mother in Women Beware Women and Yvonne in A Small Family Business at Birmingham Repertory Theatre, and appeared in the Winslow Boy at Theatre Royal Windsor. Mrs Higgins in Pygmalion is a favourite part which she played in Wales. She toured in Steaming and A Murder is Annouced.

Recently she worked at The Bridewell Theatre, playing Vee in Lunch Girls and The Mother in After Magritte.

TV credits include Young Shoulders, Eastenders and Bramwell.
