Jan Bridgman’s successful portrayal of Arkadina in Galleon Theatre Company’s The Seagull (“portrays Arkadina’s various facets to great effect” - Leisure Magazine) was one of a number of roles following her recent degree from The Birmingham School of Acting.

A hardworking, versatile character actress, with an ear for accents, she plays classical, contemporary, dramatic and comedic roles. Her showcase monologue of Monika in Andrew Bovell’s After Dinner earned praise from The Stage - “the black comedy was well handled by a confident Bridgman”.

A team player, who takes direction well, she has entered the profession with the enthusiasm of a graduate and life experience of a mature person.
