Biography

Since leaving the Webber Douglas Academy in 1975, Maralyn Heathcock has appeared in productions as far apart as London’s West End (The School for Scandal, Amadeus, etc.), the West Indies, doing Theatre at Sea on board the liner QE II and Pakistan. She worked extensively for Playfare Productions, doing children’s theatre and playing principal boy in pantomime. She has compiled various one woman shows, mainly of poetry, drama and music hall songs and performed in this country, the Middle East (for the British Council) and Pakistan. In November 2007 Maralyn took her latest show, Cavalcade, to various venues in Pakistan, including the World Performing Arts Festival in Lahore.
