Biography

Since Graduating from Guildford School of Acting, Matthew has performed in a wide variety of Film, Television and Theatre.

His West End Credits include: ‘An Ideal Husband’ directed by Sir Peter Hall at the Lyric Theatre; ‘The Arabian Nights’ at Shakespeare’s Globe; ‘Inside, Outside’ at The Arts Theatre, and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at Holland Park alongside Wayne Sleep. In ‘Much Ado’, his Don John was described by the Yorkshire Post as having ‘the perfect edge of menace amid the laughs’.

Matthew plays the trumpet, possesses a strong baritone singing voice and has trained in Physical Theatre. He is a gifted comic actor, and was seen recently in Skullduggery’s Melodrama, ‘Golden Prospects’. The Scotsman commented ‘…his hilarious mannerisms dominate the show from his hysterical opening line until his amusing demise.’
